LEGOLAND MUST DO ATTRACTIONS
LEGOLAND® Dubai is a LEGO-themed family amusement park located at Dubai Parks and Resorts, just outside the city. The closest major city is Dubai itself, around a 20–25 minute drive from most central areas. The park opened on 31 October 2016 and was designed specifically for families with children aged 2–12, making it one of the most accessible and relaxed theme parks in the UAE.
Your visit begins at The Factory, the heart of the park and home to LEGOLAND’s iconic entrance experience. With oversized LEGO bricks, playful industrial design, and the chance to see how LEGO bricks are made, it immediately sets the tone: this is a park where kids are encouraged to touch, build, and explore. From here, LEGOLAND opens up into multiple themed lands, each focused on discovery, learning, and gentle adventure.
LEGOLAND isn’t about racing from coaster to coaster. It’s about doing things together. Some attractions are so interactive, but be mindful not all rides may be open all day and operations are not optimal. These are things not to miss.
Miniland
Miniland is the emotional and visual centerpiece of LEGOLAND Dubai. Here you’ll find famous landmarks from the UAE and beyond — including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and international icons — recreated in stunning detail using millions of LEGO bricks. Interactive buttons bring scenes to life with moving vehicles, lighting effects, and playful surprises.
Must-do because:
It’s one of the most impressive Minilands in the world and perfectly captures LEGO’s creativity and attention to detail.
The Dragon (LEGO Kingdoms)
LEGOLAND’s signature coaster begins as a gentle dark ride through a medieval LEGO castle filled with knights, dragons, and playful scenes before transforming into a mild outdoor roller coaster. It’s exciting without being intimidating and often becomes a first “big coaster” for kids.
Must-do because:
It perfectly balances storytelling and thrills, making it a highlight for families riding together.
Submarine Adventure (Adventure Land)
This fully indoor ride places you inside a real submarine, traveling through an underwater LEGO world filled with sea creatures, ruins, and colorful scenes. Large viewing windows and interactive elements keep kids engaged throughout the journey.
Must-do because:
It’s immersive, air-conditioned, and unlike anything else in the park — a true LEGOLAND classic.
LEGO City Driving School
One of the most popular attractions in the park, the Driving School lets kids take the wheel of electric cars, follow road rules, and earn a LEGOLAND driver’s license. There’s even a junior version for younger children.
Must-do because:
Kids absolutely love it, and it’s one of those “core memory” attractions they’ll talk about long after your visit.
Rescue Academy (LEGO City)
A high-energy, interactive attraction where families work together to pedal a fire truck, race to a burning building, and put out flames using water cannons. It’s physical, competitive, and a lot of fun.
Must-do because:
It’s one of the few attractions where teamwork and movement are the main event — great for burning off energy.
Lost Kingdom Adventure (Adventure Land)
A laser-shooter dark ride through ancient LEGO ruins, complete with skeletons, traps, and hidden targets. Riders compete for points while traveling through detailed sets filled with humor and surprises.
Must-do because:
It’s interactive, repeatable, and fun for both kids and adults — especially if you like a bit of friendly competition.
Imagination & Build Zones
Scattered throughout the park are build-and-play areas where kids can construct cars, animals, towers, and whatever else they dream up. These zones often become unexpected highlights, especially for younger visitors.
Must-do because:
This is LEGO at its purest: creative, hands-on, and pressure-free.
TICKET PRICES
A one-day ticket to LEGOLAND® Dubai typically costs around USD 60–75 (AED 220–275) for a 1-park pass, which gives you full-day access to all rides, attractions, and interactive play areas inside the park.
The best place to stay when visiting LEGOLAND Dubai is Lapita, Dubai Parks™ and Resorts, Autograph Collection. This Polynesian-themed resort is located inside Dubai Parks & Resorts, just a short walk from LEGOLAND Dubai, LEGOLAND Water Park, and the other parks on site — ideal for families who don’t want to worry about transport.
Room rates at Lapita vary by season and availability, but recent deals often start around USD 170–260 per night (AED 620–995) for a standard room for two adults, with family rooms and suites available for larger groups.
Many hotel packages bundle park tickets with your stay, sometimes starting from around USD 200–250 (AED 740–900) including breakfast and access to one park. For families, this can be excellent value — combining a full day at LEGOLAND with a comfortable, themed hotel stay.
FOOD RECOMMENDATIONS
One of the best things about visiting LEGOLAND® Dubai is that the food is just as playful as the park itself. From kid-friendly classics like burgers, pizzas, and pasta to lighter meals and sweet treats, there’s plenty to enjoy throughout the day. Inside the park, you’ll find spots like Market Restaurant for buffet-style meals, Knight’s Table in LEGO Kingdoms for hearty family dishes, and several quick-service cafés perfect for a fast bite between rides.
But there’s one snack you absolutely shouldn’t miss: LEGOLAND’s famous Apple Fries. Served warm, dusted with cinnamon sugar, and paired with a sweet dipping sauce, they’ve become the park’s signature treat — and a favorite with both kids and adults. If you try just one snack during your visit, make it this one.
If you’re looking for more variety or a relaxed sit-down meal, head to Riverland Dubai, located just outside the park entrance. Restaurants like Viva Ristorante, Al Mashowa, and Chickadees offer Italian dishes, Emirati flavors, and comfort-food favorites. Dining here means waterfront views, evening lights, and a calmer atmosphere — the perfect contrast to a busy day of LEGO-filled fun.
HOW TO GET TO LEGOLAND?
Getting to LEGOLAND® Dubai is easy and straightforward, especially if you’re flying into the UAE. Dubai International Airport (DXB) is the main arrival airport for most visitors and is located about 45–60 minutes from Dubai Parks and Resorts, where LEGOLAND Dubai is situated. The fastest and most convenient option is to take a taxi or ride-hailing service directly from the airport. Taxis are readily available at all DXB terminals, and Uber works reliably in Dubai, offering clear pricing and comfortable, door-to-door service ideal when traveling with kids or carrying bags.
Public transportation is available, but it’s less practical for most visitors. Reaching LEGOLAND by metro and bus requires multiple transfers and can easily take well over two hours, which isn’t ideal if you’re on a tight schedule or visiting with children.
For most travelers, a taxi or Uber from Dubai Airport is the best choice. Fares are very reasonable by international standards, especially when shared between two or more people, and the convenience far outweighs the small extra cost. Arriving directly at the park or your nearby hotel means you’ll start your LEGOLAND day relaxed, organized, and ready for a full day of LEGO-filled fun.
