How to get groceries delivered at Efteling Bosrijk or Loonsche Land Staying at Efteling Bosrijk or Efteling Loonsche Land is peak comfort… until you realise you forgot coffee, breakfast, or that one ingredient for your “we’ll definitely cook” dinner. The good news: you can order groceries online and have them delivered while you’re staying on-site.

This guide shows you exactly how to do it with Albert Heijn Online,  including the best delivery “hack” for holiday parks.

First: what address should you use?

Efteling lists these official addresses:

  • Efteling BosrijkEftelingsestraat 7, 5171 RP Kaatsheuvel

  • Efteling Loonsche LandEftelingsestraat 5, 5171 RP Kaatsheuvel

Important: delivery to a holiday park usually stops at the barrier

Albert Heijn explicitly mentions that if you’re staying on a holiday park, they’ll deliver up to the park barrier (slagboom).
So the smoothest plan is: schedule delivery + meet the driver at the barrier/parking/reception area.

Step-by-step: ordering groceries online at Albert Heijn

1) Start an online order

On ah.nl, go to Online bestellen and choose:

  • Bezorging (delivery) or

  • Pick Up Point (collect)

2) Set your Efteling address (temporary vacation address)

AH explains you can change your delivery address by clicking “Wijzig” behind your current address and entering the new one.

Use:

  • Bosrijk: Eftelingsestraat 7

  • Loonsche Land: Eftelingsestraat 5

3) Choose a delivery time slot

Pick a date + time window first, then start filling your cart.
Tip: popular evening slots can disappear quickly—book your slot first, shop second.

4) Add items (and remember the minimum order)

Albert Heijn’s minimum order is €50.

5) Add a note for the driver (this is the key step!)

Because AH may deliver only to the slagboom at holiday parks, add a clear delivery note for the driver. AH explains you can add a remark for the driver in your profile settings.

Copy-paste example note (edit as needed):

“We are staying at Efteling Bosrijk / Loonsche Land. Please deliver to the slagboom / entrance area. Call/text on arrival and we will meet you there.”

6) Check delivery costs (so you’re not surprised)

AH states delivery costs vary by time slot (roughly €1.95 to €7.95) and Pick Up Point is a fixed €1.95.

7) Delivery day: meet the driver

Bosrijk and Loonsche Land are designed to be calm, car-light parks. For example, Loonsche Land notes you can only drive into the park on arrival/departure day for luggage, and many accommodations are reached on foot.
So plan for a short walk from the meeting point. Bring a big tote bag, backpack, or a small trolley if you have one.

Best practical tips (learned the easy way)

Time it with reception opening hours

If you want the safest “meeting point”, aim for delivery during reception opening hours (both are listed as 07:00–22:30).

No time to order? Use the on-site shop for basics

Bosrijk has Kleyn Waerenhuys next to reception for snacks, drinks, and essentials (open 08:00–21:00).

Ordering alcohol?

In the Netherlands, alcohol sales require age checks (18+). Be ready with ID if your order includes alcohol.

Need to change your delivery time or order?

AH explains you can change your order/delivery moment via Mijn bestellingen
