Honourable Mentions
BON Luxury Theme Park: part of VidantaWorld’s in Nuevo Vallarta
We're interested in this one because it romises a new concept. It aiims to become the world’s first luxury-focused theme park. Sprawled across thousands of tropical acres between the Sierra Madre mountains and the Pacific coast, VidantaWorld combines beachfront resorts, lush natural surroundings, championship golf, luxury hotels, and soon, a full-scale theme park featuring 23 attractions, 25 restaurants, 16 shops, immersive themed lands (like “Fantasy Gardens,” “Empire of Light,” “Land of Legends,” and a dedicated “Cirque du Soleil Zone”), and headline entertainment. Rather than chasing crowds, the park’s model is built around exclusivity, comfort, and high quality: initial entry will be reserved for resort guests, with a planned cap on daily visitors, a deliberate choice to prioritize “luxury, not lines.” When fully open (expected in fall 2026), VidantaWorld promises a new kind of vacation: part resort, part entertainment destination, where guests can enjoy world-class rides and shows, fine dining, and the kind of relaxation more common at high-end resorts than traditional theme-parks.
Bicentenario Park (Querétaro)
A well-maintained regional park with rides, gardens, and events.
Kidzania (Multiple Cities)
An immersive “city for kids” where children try real-world jobs — a global favourite, and Mexico has some of the best locations.
Aquamundo & Hurricane Harbor Oaxtepec (Morelos)
Six Flags’ waterpark offering massive slides and pools.
